Sometimes you feel the need to return to your root

Sometimes you feel the need to return to your roots.

Over the past few days, I had the urge to start bullet journaling again. I was a bit sceptical though. What with the wedding coming up soon, I was worried if I would really use it or just stop abruptly some day in between.
.
.
That's when I realised.. it doesn't matter if I start and stop at some point. It doesn't matter even if I stop after writing one page. As long as it brings me peace for even a day it's worth it. And after all it's a bullet journal and not a diary, I can pause and restart anytime.
.
.
And so here is my Bullet Journal for 2024. Let's see how it fares.

I had an amazing time in @the.purple.splash 's Art Workshop today at @houseofstorieshostel

The main theme being self-love, the art workshop focused on different aspects of our perspectives on love, self-love, where we see ourselves, etc. There was some focused meditation, artful introspection, and, of course, coffee ☕ !!
.
.
After having a creative block for so long, the workshop kick-started some of my creativity back...
.
.
I have never tried anything on canvas before. So this was a new experience trying to get what was on my mind out there. I started off with something in mind, but my hand took me to a different place from what I had envisioned.
.
.
The main concept behind this painting for me is, 'Make yourself the sun in your universe. Don't forget yourself in trying to catch up with the things in life.'
.
.
Here's hoping for more creativity this year!
