Masks – NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 24
We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin. ~ André Berthiaume
Masks
Too much time we have spent with masks,
Tis difficult to remember who we were,
Before this a-cursed mask we wore,
Take heed this ere warning which I give,
Think twice before you pick up the next mask,
For you know not if you will ever take it off.
Verily do I know this, for all I have ever done,
Was to keep wearing more masks, never to be removed.
NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 24
Not following any prompt, was feeling too tired to write on Sunday. I had written this late Saturday evening. I am considering this for Sundays work.
