Lady Bird Beetle – Crochet Amigurumi

Being in the field of software testing, we deal with bugs of all sort everyday (not real ones haha). So when a dear friend was leaving the organization, I made one as a leaving gift/memorabilia.

I had initially made it as an Amigurumi, but my friend preferred it in keychain form. So quickly modified it on the spot.

As always it could have been made better. Had to frog it multiple times in the beginning itself. It is not a difficult pattern though, I was just occupied with the chaos my life is right now.

Things which could have been done better

  • Attachment of the head to the body
  • Placement of the black spots on the body
  • Attachment of the amigurumi to the clasp

But well I guess one learns with practice.
