Chaotic Life – NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 28
Chaotic Life
This is what I have to say, For I have been through it all till date,
No, not to others, but to yourself, for that will make your day.
There is nothing better than proving yourself,
Be the best at it,
But regret not, for whatever you had chosen
And yet this here be, is what you chose.
A choice in your hand, this or that,
And yet today here it had lead.
Could happen to anyone who dreams, I suppose.
Perchance t’was just a another mistake,
You were there, even if by luck and not hard-work.
And despite all, you were happy for,
And yet it was not quite what you wished for.
Ended up at the place you wished,
Luck wins through, when luck wants to.
Yet nothing was enough to pull to space.
Amidst all turmoil, it took place.
And so the preparations, started that day.
For it was supposed to bring some peace.
Pushed all thoughts out the window,
One fine day, a trip for science.
NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 28
The prompt was
Today I’d like to challenge you to write a poem that tells a story. But here’s the twist – the story should be told backwards. The first line should say what happened last, and work its way through the past until you get to the beginning.
Just a poetical story of how you end up where you wanted to be and yet you end up confused, if this is where you wanted to be. Um, the story is confusing and the person narrating the story is also confused. With all hopes, the reader wont be as confused as me. 🙂
