Eternal Knot – NaPoWriMo 2017 Day 16

An eternal knot,
Intertwined within itself,
With neither a start,
Nor an end ever in sight.

Keep following the lines,
And a state is reached.
A trance or nirvana?
It is all that and none.

With everything and nothing,
Encompassed in the twirling curves,
Yet space and time will stand still,
While life moves on within the lines.

Infinite thoughts keep spiralling on,
All that is left, is just to slow down.
Ignore this limitless line, and focus on just a point.
And the locus will take you, to the next eternal knot.

I have always been attracted by symbols of infinity, Celtic knots and so on. This one is inspired by my love for these symbolic representations.
