Belief forms your Destiny – NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 13

Quote Book

Belief forms your Destiny

And this too shall pass,
Don’t worry and fret, faint-hearted
Problems be a part of life,
Suffering forms the essence of success.

Fight the circumstances which bind you,
Be the controller to your circumstance.
Our glory lies not in failing,
It is in rising up every time we fall.

Know this,
Not all those who wander are lost.
When one door closes, another opens.
Nothing is impossible
As long as you believe.

Belief, dear one
Is where life is.
Believe in your-self,
And see the world,
Turn upon itself,
To give you, your wish.

Your desire which stems from the heart,
Flies into the ether each night.
And when the dawn comes,
It returns, renewed with Cosmic Energy.
And then, Thoughts become things.
See it in your mind today,
Hold it in your hand tomorrow.

Nothing is impossible to a willing heart,
What your mind can conceive, it can achieve.
For when you want something,
All the universe conspires to help you achieve it.
So fear not, Believe and get it.

Where your treasure is,
There your heart will be also.
Follow your heart,
And reach great heights.
Your destiny awaits you.
Are you ready to take the plunge onto greatness?

NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 13

And now for today’s (optional) prompt! The number 13 is often considered unlucky, so today I’d like to challenge you to beat the bad luck away with a poem inspired by fortune cookies.

As usual, the prompts look difficult in the beginning,  but once I start, it becomes fun. For me, 13th was never unlucky. I was born on Friday the 13th. I find it lucky just because I believed it to be so.

I have a quotes book in which I jot down inspiring, funny or interesting quotes. So I just went over my favourite inspiring positive thinking quotes. I feel them equivalent to all those feel good fortune cookies one usually gets.

Find below,  the people who should be credited for the ideas above. I just played with it, rearranging and changing words to fit my satisfaction.

In no specific order:

  • Jackie Chan
  • Confucius
  • Wings of Fire – Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam
  • Think & Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill
  • Lord of the Rings – Tolkien
  • Helen Keller
  • Bob Proctor
  • The Alchemist – Paulo Coelho
  • Dale Carnegie
  • The Bible

Before I end,  Did you know September 13th is Positive Thinking Day?
